Ape Dep toe’s debut performance took place at the X’S TOUR Pre-Party in Udaipur on Augest 16, 2014, which is a nationwide tour that record label Vala Pap puts together in order to showcase different artists signed to the label. Ape Dep toe announced the project by releasing the X’S TOUR Pool Party lineup with XKXO, Mid Jay and Boys Knu3s playing at multiple stops on the tour. After some guessing by many of who Ape Dep toe was, XKXO finally came out to reveal that “Ape Dep toe means a team with rage potential".

The three have worked with each other on assorted projects over the past five years starting with XKXO singing and playing piano with Mid Jay & Boys Knu3s on a record for Ape Dep toe. They worked with different domestic and international artists through these past years. XKXO is a singer, songwriter and record producer, as the other twos Mid Jay & Boys Knu3s are DJ/Producers. Their own X’S TOUR is called one of the wildest and maddest tour in India performing Ape Dep toe.

Focusing on music Ape Dep toe stated at X’S TOUR 2014, "music needs to be where no limits, just to bounce some ideas and to make help change the world”.

They collaborated on a record that combines Trap/Dubstep music and features vocals from Indian Hip-Hop artist Yissa titled “We, Apes" for Ape Dep toe's debut album Beyond. When asked about how to ending up forming Ape Dep toe, XKXO stated that "Mid Jay and Boys Knu3s was one of the first producers I met when I moved to Udaipur...we just [have] always been really close musically with our ideas." The three get together in Old City Udaipur or in rooms when on tour to make their records.

On August 10, 2014 Ape Dep toe performed at X’S TOUR Pre-Party. The set included a wide variety of genres featuring songs from XKXO and Ape Dep toe.

On September 21, 2014 Mid Jay & XKXO headlined a concert at Bhairav Garh Resort. Besides their (Ape Dep toe) performance, other performers included Boum Boi, Mid Jay, Lai Wiel, Boys Knu3s, XKXO and Daggler.

Ape Dep toe Performed at Duplay Jaipur on 13th June 2015 with X'S TOUR.

On July 19, 2015 Ape Dep toe released their Ancient Chinese, trap music collaboration "Fu Siii" featuring XKXO from their first debut album Beyond.

On August 7, 2015 pair released their third single from doubt album Beyond featuring Kid Lizzie called "Moonlight".

In Dec’15 Ape Dep toe performed on their X’S TOUR product UCT15 (Udaipur City Tour 2015) including three phases and the new years eve.

2016 was good run including guest artist performance at Sunburn Campus SKIT, Jaipur and headlining at the Rajasthan's biggest electronic music festival DMF's two campus performances.

Ape Dep toe performed as main headliner artist at Dunes Music Festival on Nov 19 in Jaipur.

On NYE 2017 Ape Dep toe performed at DMF Crown Souvenir, Jaipur.

Ape Dep toe has India's and international youngest-talented artists (XKXO, Boum Boi, Ice Cream & Cake, Slapjack, Daggler, Vashudha, Yissa, Mid Jay, Boys Knu3s, & Kid Lizzie) collaboration on Vala Pap.

XKXO, MID JAY & BOYS KNU3S

Ape Dep toe is an Indian Musicians, side group and collaborative project, consisting of Vala Pap founder XKXO, Mid Jay and Boys Knu3s formed in March 2013. They are a Fusion/Hip-Hop music act from Udaipur.

Ape Dep toe performed X’S TOUR, in Udaipur and Jaipur in 2014/15. They released their first official single “Wë, Apës" on July 17th, 2015. On November 24, 2015, the pair announced that they would be working on their debut album Beyond.
